Sorry for another stroller question.:cool1:

Does anyone have one of these strollers. If so , what model? Trying to decide if the VIBE is worth the money or if we should stick with dash or sport model. Our riders are 8 week old twins and 22 month old. We will sling a baby and have one twin ride and the toddler ride.

If you have this stroller have you traveled to WDW with it? How is it to fly with ? How hard is it for Disney busses?

Thanks in advance
:)

P.S. What do you do for diaper bag?

I have a Phil & Ted's Sport. I love it, but I wouldn't look forward to flying with it. I find it too difficult to "quickly" fold up, and when it is folded, it's not small. With that said I think it's a excellent stroller, especially with the "double" set up. So I think you would be happy to have it at the parks, but traveling with it might be a hassle.

We have the Dash which we use for DS(almost2) and expect to use with our LO due next month. We love it -- pushes really easy; is great for day trips; and we are really excited about the double feature for its slim profile and ease of use. Like the PP said, it is bulkier folded up than our Maclaren is, so traveling with it is more difficult, but we expected any double to be more challenging than the Maclaren! However, once you get to the parks, it is really nice. It is also a lot lighter than most double strollers.

We debated between the Dash and the Vibe and ultimately decided the Dash was better for us. The two main differences we saw were the brake (one-handed on the Vibe; and 2-handed on the Dash) and the ability to fold up with the double attached. We found the 2-handed fold of the Dash to be very easy once we got used to it and, on the Vibe, we kept accidentally engaging the brake when pushing it around the store. Plus, the second seat comes off so easily, that the benefit of folding with it attached wasn't worth the significant extra cost to us.

Good luck with your decision!

We have the sport, and I really didn't consider the vibe, due to the cost. I LOVE the stroller, but we are yet to plane travel with it yet. It will be a bear to travel with, and honestly, I was looking at picking up a used mac twin techno for the trip. But, I know I will be happier with the Phil and Teds for the 2 week trip to WDW. I purchased a $30 big stroller bag for the gate check and that will be that!

Some tips I have for the stoller in general....I "customized" the handle bar, and protected it, by adding some fun handlebar tape to it (Camoflauge). It protects the foam on the handlebar when closing, as I am yet to figure out how to close it without smashing the handlebar to the ground:confused3

I also got the cushy ride seat cushions, really nice to save the seats and it does make it more comfy for the LOs.

I just ordered the pannier bags from www.albeebaby.com, as well as the mini diddie bag. Since you can't hang a bag, these were fairly inexpensive options when albee did their 20% off.

Lastly, I ordered a BOB parent console and use the Ray Shade cover for the front and this sunshine kids shade that I found for $6 on clearance at BRU for the back....much cheaper than the "protect a bub" shades out there!

I have the Vibe, and I absolutely love it. I'm so happy with our decision to spend a little more. The cushioning on both seats is wonderful and so comfortable for my kids. We first used it for my (then) 2.5 year old son and newborn daughter. We're now using it for my 2.5 year old daughter and newborn son. This stroller has lasted us with little show of wear and tear. I haven't had any problems with the foam handlebar, and I love the one-handed brake (as compared to the footbrake.) It pushes like a dream.

The fold: it can fold with the 2nd seat on, and I do that when I'm putting it in my car. It's a little big, but fits fine in my small trunk. When we fly with it, I pack it in the cover with the 2nd seat off. I agree that it's more combersome to fly with, but so worth it when you're actually there.

I think if you're already spending the money on a sport or dash, it's worth it to upgrade for the cushion and full front seat canope alone, not to mention the fold and the brake. I need to get one of those back seat canopes though. With my first 2 kids, I didn't worry as much because they don't tend to burn, but my 3rd is super pale, so I'll be on the lookout for one of those.

Overall, I am soooo pleased with this stroller. No regrets whatsoever!

I have the P&T Sport and I LOVE LOVE it...I wouldn't travel with it because it is big and heavy and doesn't fold easy..

We tkae our Vibe ,and LOVE it! We got the Vibe travel bag, so I pack it up at the gate, and they gate check it at the plane door. It is great to have it so narrow. We had the original e3, it was great too, (like the sport, and others), the Vibe is just a bit more padded, and softer ride. All the kids have taken a ride in it, it is so easy to push, we love it

We are on year 5 with the sport and we LOVE it but i would not suggest traveling to Disney with it
Especially not with the doubles seat attached- can't imagine the headache of folding it (not small nor light) and then holding the double seat while managing your 3 kids on and off the bus

Just my thoughts on traveling with the Phil and Teds....

Like I posted above, I was about to buy a nice used Mac Twin Techno on craigslist just for this trip. We have a Quest and LOVE:lovestruc it and it has survived many trips to WDW before we had 2 lil monkeys. I am not looking forward to traveling with the P&T, but when I was weighing it out, the hassle with the travel is such a small piece compared to the actual convienence and "use" time while we are there. So, just think about that. It may be a hassle for 20 minutes out of your 8 hour day, and will that be worth it?

We recently bought a Sport for our 23 month old son. We own 2 Quinnys and love them, but found that he was starting to grow out of the Buzz, and that the Zapp just isn't comfortable for him to nap in (it doesn't recline).

We will be taking our P&Ts with us to WDW for the first time in 3 weeks. I guess it depends on where you are staying regarding the bus issue. If you are staying at a monorail resort then you probably won't be on the buses very much. For us, the comfort for our son, and the convenience of having a stroller that is easy to push with lots of storage space is what is really important. One of the things that made us consider this stroller was the number of them that we saw at our last trip to WDW in March.

We plan on buying one of the travel bags so that we can fold the stroller up before boarding the plan and put it in the bag (which will hopefully protect it somewhat from getting dirty and damaged).

We have the P&T Sport, and have traveled to WDW with it 3 times now. It is not our favorite travel stroller, we still have taken it tho.

We have to bag it to gate check it in order to protect it and all its parts (doubles kit) it's not light to haul thru the airports. Since we can't use it to haul kids thru due to the pain it is to pack it in the bag it's a bother thru the airport.

It is nice to have in WDW its skinny for getting thru crowds but it also required a bunch of extras to get it to the point where it's useful once we get to WDW. We needed a Ray Shade, a parasol for sun coverage, 2 skip hop saddle bags (chose these over P&Ts versions because they have built in cup holders 1 for each kid) since there's zero storage underneath with #2 in the back, the BOB single console for the handle bar for us and a cover for the handle bar sicne early on we realized we were tearing it up folding it. We have now moved to using our Tike Tech double for travel or using 2 singles.
