Hi all, I just wanted to share with someone...

I have had my 14 night trip at AKV booked for 11 months now and up until today we were not going to use the DDP. However, last night DH said he wishes that we had it so.. my mission for this morning was to sit with the laptop and scour the online ADR system for anything open...

I managed to get dinner reservations (between 6 - 7pm for most) for:
Captains Grille
Tutto Italia
Wave
Sanaa @ AKV (we are staying here so thought we would give it a try)
Narcoossees
Planet Hollywood
Flying Fish
Boma
Whispering Canyon
Via Napoli
Raglan Road

I have been to a few of these places before but most are new to me.
I have tried Planet Hollywood, Boma, Whispering Canyon & Raglan Road before.

Can anyone share any experiences with the others?

I was quite relieved to get anything with just over a week to go! we arrive 2nd September

Capt grille is the best seafood place on the ddp. I think fultons is the best seafood in the entire resort.

we have eaten at Fultons twice now and on both occasions I was unimpressed
Maybe we had off days but we had awful servers, the place was freezing- so cold that people were asking for table cloths to cover up with

and there were mosquitoes everywhere

the food was ok, but just ok.

We have eaten at Tutto Italia and Narcoossee's before. Both of the restaurants had great service and food. We were celebrating my daughter's birthday at Tutto Italia. Our waiter and the restaurant manager paid her a lot of attention and sang "Happy Birthday" in Italian.

Tutto Italia enjoyed the food here
Wave a Favorite, have been several times for dinner
Sanaa @ AKV (we are staying here so thought we would give it a try) Interesting food -- ask server for recos if you don't like really spicy foods.
Narcoossees
Planet Hollywood
Flying Fish
Boma didn't care for dinner, love breakfast
Whispering Canyon
Via Napoli
Raglan Road another favorite


Can anyone share any experiences with the others?

catne, thanks for the advice on sanaa, i was a little bit worried whether the food would be too spicy for me! DH loves spicy food and this was his choice and as we are staying at AKV i agreed to give it a try.
