So let's say I'm interested in DVC, but I'm not "sold" on the idea enough to drop $15k-$20k at this point in time.
Suppose I buy a 25-point resale for a $2k, which I am willing to drop at this point in time. I get full DVC membership benefits, yes?
Now let's say that, a year after I buy the 25-point resale, I decide I love DVC and want to go all-in and increase my points.
My understanding is that I cannot just "add points" to my existing contract. Rather, I'd need to buy one or more additional contracts (each with another set of closing fees), and aggregate points across all contracts. Is that right?
If so, is there any way to "merge" the contracts into one membership, or will I forever be tracking two memberships, two account numbers, two sets of cards, etc.?
Thanks much.
