Cruising in two months!!!! :cool1:
Went shopping to buy stuff for the cruise like new clothing for DH and emergency meds....geez it gets pretty expensive to buy all the anit-nausea meds. for adults and children, immodium...and its just for "incase". I'm bringing the usually stuff like cold meds, ibuprofen, etc that we have everyday at home and use...BUT gravol and immodium we dont ever use at home. So is there a pharmacy or a store that stocks those things and how much? I did however buy a small pack of bonamine and small pack of childrens gravol and bought children size anti nausea bracelets. But yet to find a small pack of immodium. I was going to purchase Transderm V but it's pretty pricey so I'm hoping that the boat has it in case the nausea is really bad.

The gift shop onboard has very few items in this regard, and they are EXTREMELY pricey....I would bring whatever you can. I picked up many travel size things like this in Florida itself. Found it to be a lot cheaper...HTH :goodvibes

thanks mommista,
We're hitting Walmart and superstore this weekend, so we'll check there for smaller packs of immodium. The Transderm V is a 2 patch application...each patch lasts 2-3 days, so the one box costs 10 dollars plus tax for one person for almost one week and we're a party of 3 adults...pretty expensive for just in case but then it's not fun to be sick for a whole week for the cost of an expensive cruise...decisions decisions. Thanks for the tip.

Sure do wish they did.....

DH would be the first to apply for the pharmacist job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can gurarantee that..........

As Momma said......these items are VERY expensive on the ship and if at all
possible.....buy them ahead of time. Could your Doc give you a few samples
of the Transderm???????

Have a great cruise....

I thought they gave out some anti-nausea medicine for free at the health clinic?

Otherwise, I'd pack whatever you might need.

They do have the anti-nausea meds available both at Guest Services and hanging on the wall outside the medical facility. And....just a note, my DH would be the second pharmacisit to apply!
