Pez & 30

I was in the grocery store last night, standing on line at what seemed like forever, when the PEZ display caught my eye. remembering how much I loved the candy & in a moment of nostalgia....bought a pack with the dispenser. (Peppermint Patty if anyone is interested.) Now.. driving home, I'm feeling all giddy, (I'm 30 & I bought PEZ...Ha! Ha!) I get home, rush to put the grocieries away. Plop down, fill my dispenser AND ........ EWWWWWWWWW! It was soooo sweet I thought I was going to hurl! I was soo disappointed!

So, I guess the moral of the story is to avoid those impulse buy isles in the store. I used to like rice Krispies treats to but now am thinking twice about whipping up a batch.
Guess it was silly trying to regain my youth.

Turned 30 in Dec. & STILL haven't got over it!

I bought a Mickey one. And I'm older than 30. They are too sweet. I give them out to kids that stop by my office though. I bought my kids their own Pez dispensers, but they'd rather just eat the pezes out of the wrappers.

A Mickey one would have been cool! I like the holder. It is in my desk at work as well.
I tried giving a PEZ to my DOG. He looked at it, licked it then spit it out. He gave me this look like, ARE YOU CRAZY?!?!?!?! I'm not eating that!

I bought a Mickey and a Donald a couple of weeks ago. The candy is sickeningly sweet, but that hasn't stopped me from eating some of them! I think I'll save the rest for my neice and nephew.
