Petticoat Creek Pool in Pickering - anyone been?

Looking for a place near Pickering to meet up with some family for the day (Pickering is the halfway point between our homes).

Looks to be a nice big pool at Petticoat.

We went several times when the kids were younger.
Its a nice place but it can get a bit busy on weekends and hot days.
It has lots of shallow parts for the young-uns .

It costs $5 per adult to get into the area, and $3.50 pp to get into the pool area. The pool is a gradual grade into the water. That make sense???

Nice enough, it does get busy, lots of camps go there.

Frenchmans Bay is really nice in Pickering too, Not sure the ages, but it has a beach, park, and mini splashpad. Rotary Park in Ajax is great too, great park, splash pad, picnic areas and a great walk along the water. Both areas don't have a pool though.

I remember it as being nice, the day we went the water was chilly, not sure if anyone else remembers that?

Pickering Town Centre is nice too. Has a MasterMind that's fun.

Thanks so much for the info everyone. It looks like such a fun pool. Our trip will be through the week, not on the weekend, so hopefully with that and the pool being large, the crowds won't bother us too much.
