Are there any resorts that take pets? I've see the Kennel online but not in person. Has anyone used the Kennel for their beloved pet?

No, sorry none of the Disney resorts allow pets...however, you can have pets at the campground in certain loops while staying in your own camper, the pets cannot be left unattended during the day so they would have to be boarded at the kennel for the day.

The Best Friends Pet Kennel looks real nice, but it's pricey! It may be cheaper for you to hire a pet sitter at your home or use a kennel at home.

I'm pretty sure Best Friends Pet Kennel is across the street from Port Orleans, so that would be a good choice for you to stay at if you bring your pet to BF.

We used Best Friends last year and are using again this year. Loved being able to see Ollie in the morning before parks and playing with him at night after parks. He seemed to handle it a lot better seeing us everyday as opposed to when we left him in kennel at home. It usually took a few days for him to adjust when we came back. A little more in price compared to home, but I think well worth it. The place was well maintained, I would go by at all different hours and they were playing with the dogs, walking dogs or cleaning out the suites. Very nice caretakers. Just for a reference Ollie is a 3 yr old 65lb labradoodle.

Universal hotels have pet-friendly rooms. You can even order room service for your pet, if you want. I never did it so I don't know if they wheel it in on a mini cart or cover it up with mini silver-cover thingies or not. One day, I will do this.

I've heard good things and bad things on the DIS about the Best Friends kennel at Disney. I would just leave my pet with a kennel my vet trusted, but that's me.
