Pets?

Just because I like looking at all these animal photos, I will post another one of my cat Mia (see page 1 for another photo and details on how I found her). Here she is, basking in the sun (or doing her impersonation of a zebra thanks to the window blinds?).

:sunny:

We have two cats, Scotty and Sulu. They are brothers we adopted from a local shelter as kittens almost a year and a half ago. I love to watch them meow and chatter to each other.

Wonderful photos all!

We have two kitties - Milo and Kida. They are Siberian cats from Lundberg Siberians. DH is allergic to cats, these cats have lower levels of the allergen people react to, he has had no reactions with these cats.
Milo is the big brown guy and Kida is the small cream/blue torbie. We named them from the main characters in Disney's movie Atlantis. Kida is about 10 months younger and half the size of Milo, but she rules. She is the 'evil' kitty :maleficen. When they are doing something they shouldn't . . . she started it. Milo is pretty big at 14 lbs. and he lost weight after Kida arrived, as she chases him all around the house demanding he play - now he is nearly all muscle from all the running he does! When she arrived there were a few times we caught a look of terror on his face (:scared1:) as he caught sight of her, right before she pounced him and they took off running around the house. She was a 4 lbs. ball of fluff at the time and he had the deer in the headlights look. :rotfl2:

They get along wonderfully . . . we have never had any issues with them together. Milo will actually wait until Kida eats when they are fed, then take his turn.

I was browsing this board and came across this thread. We have a Kida as well. I knew I couldn't be the only one that thought it was a good name.:)

Your dogs are adorable! My husky dugged out 5 rose bushes when we moved in to our house and chewed-up half of them. They love to dig!

I found a solution to the digging problem.

I have a 3 year old mixed breed dog (no clue what she's a mix of... though she's probably got corgi in her) named Rosie. My boyfriend and I adopted her from a local dog and cat rescue group.

I have a Dog Toby Rotti Lab mix he is 10 and is starting to have issues with tumors so sadly I think by this time next year I may need to be making a hard decision.... He loves the kids but his idea of playing with them is sitting outside and watching them he is totally content to do this and even when the kids try to physically play withhim he will take his toy and go lay back down and watch. He has done this since he was young. He always wants to go out with the kids too. He loves his kitties too. He is a loyal friend.:lovestruc adopted from humane society.

4 cats
Rex "the King" he is 11 and rules the house. If Rex isn't happy no one is happy! he was born here so we have had him every day of his life.

Woody another Humane Society adoption. He is our Big Boy at 15 pounds. He is a cat who loves comfort! His fur is sooo soft. He waits in the bathroom to hop in the shower with me. He is about 5

Madge saw her at the local Agway up for adoption from the animal shelter. My husband wanted a truck my daughter wanted another cat. Thinking that she would out grow the want for another cat before he got another truck, he made a deal. He said "when I get a truck you get a cat." Several months later he comes home with an old truck to which my daughter responded "where's my cat?" Madge is the Princess she thinks she is special and feels she should be treated as such. She is smaller than the boys and very dainty.

Ossie (Oswald named after the Lucky Rabbit) came to us last year in the middle of the biggest snow storm of the year that dropped 2 feet of snow on us. He was so cold when we took him in and his ears were bright red. Tried to find out if he had an owner but no one claimed him. Turns out he was a drop off at the farm below us. He is the Wild Child

Remy came to us from the Humane Society as well. He is a white rat and had a brother- Emile who has passed on. He is a very sweet boy and loves for us to cut up fruits and veggies for him.

Looks like a lot of beagles here. We have 3 cats (Bobby, Pesto (aka Mr. Incredible) and Lil and 1 beagle Elvis.
