We may be traveling with another family next month to Disney and I was wondering if any of the resorts allow pets. My girlfriend is bringing her dog which she already knows has to be boarded during the day, but she wasn't sure if any of the resorts allowed dogs. It's a small dog that only weighs about 10lbs.

No resort on WDW property permits animals, to my knowledge. They make exceptions for service animals though. I think people bring animals to Fort Wilderness cabins, where it's either harder to enforce or pets may be allowed.

You might want to ask this on the Resort Board.

Not on WDW property, but Hard Rock Hotel at Universal allows pets. I don't recommend boarding on Disney property. I boarded at Fort Wilderness once and it was not a good experience. They aren't allowed to even touch your pet. You must go back and walk during the day, or they never leave their cage.

Thank you for that information. I will have to pass that along to my girlfriend. Personally, I am leaving my dog at home with family. I couldn't imagine bringing him with us even if he is a small dog.

If you book a cabin, you cannot take your pet. The only time pets are allowed to stay on the campsite are when you stay in your own RV on a loop that allows them. There aren't any Disney owned rooms/cabins that will allow a pet, only service guide dogs.
