Hello all! I have cat allergies and I was wondering if anyone else has ever had a problem staying here because they allow animals. I was also wondering if there is any noise from barking dogs or anything like that. I love animals, but I have never stayed in a hotel which allowed them.

Thanks!

Hi..

It was weird seeing pets around... the people on either side of our room had dogs - 2 shelties on one side and a large poodle on the other... we never heard a thing.. but would see them in the hall or elevators once in a while.

I would not worry about anything - maybe just have some allergy medication with you - in case you react to something.

what flor of the hotel were you on? I was told animals are just on the first floor, is this true, I am curious

Hi there...

We were on the 6th floor... ! This was shortly after the hotel opened.. maybe it has changed since then?

I just made my ressie for summer, and, just like last summer, our beagle is going to be a Hard Rock Hound! Once again I was told that they *try* to book all pets in on the 1st or 2nd floor so as to get them outdoors ASAP when they need to go. However, if I had allergies as you do, I would have them note it on your ressie, and remind them again at check-in. I know a lot of people dislike that Loews allows pets, but I really appreciate it, and promise that mine, at least, is well behaved. Good luck!

Hi there I was looking to get info on bringing dogs to the Universal resorts and was going to start a new one but I saw this one and just thought that I would "piggy back" off of it.

I was wondering if anyone could give me more info about this
Such as: Where do your dogs go when you want to go to the parks or out by the pool etc?
How much x-tra does this cost? Is it per dog and size?

Thanks for the help
We really would love to bring out "kids" there next trip...

It doesn't cost anything extra to bring a pet. The pet can stay in your room while you go to the parks. You have the choice of putting your dog in a crate so that the maid can come in and clean up, or you can put a "Do Not Disturb My Pet" tag out on the door, and the maid will pass you by. When our family of 6 stayed at the HRH last summer, we brought our 2 dogs with us, and we stayed in 2 connected rooms. We just put the dogs in one room, put the "Do Not Disturb" sign on that door, and closed the connecting door so the maid could clean the other room. Then the next day we switched rooms.

Thanks so much. Im so happy to hear this. I wish that Disney resorts would do the same thing.
Im so excited that I can bring my 2 doggies with us.
Kewl
