Pete's Dragon Music?

Has anyone ever seen or heard of a soundtrack available for the movie Pete's Dragon? We love those songs, but can only find them individually on different collections of Disney music. TIA!

Many moons ago it was available as an album. I had it as a child. I would guess that since it's not a 'vault' movie there is probably no upcoming re-release of the movie or the soundtrack, but that's just my guess. It's one of my favorite live action Disney movies and I adore the music, sure wish I had held onto that album!

*Just for kicks I searched on ebay, there is one on auction right now for $6.99!

YES!!! I just bought the CD last weekend at a huge local furniture store that sells movies, cds, etc. Since then, I have seen it in stock at our local Best Buy. It has all of the original music and is GREAT! Since I saw it at 2 different places within a week, I am assuming it has been recently re-released in CD format. Now if I could just find The Muppet Movie soundtrack on Cd........

Okay, I'm running to Best Buy. Who'd have thought they'd release such a classic so quietly! I've NEVER heard anything about it. I spent years searching for the Alice in Wonderland soundtrack until they finally put Golden Afternoon on one of the boxed sets and after the fruitless Alice search I just kind of gave up on finding these wonderful gems.

Wow! I had that album as a kid too - one of my favorites because it had parts of the movie telling the story as well as the songs. My daughters haven't seen the movie (I haven't either since I was little), but my oldest just sang "Candle on the Water" at her recital a few weeks ago so I know she'd love the album! I remember Pete and Elliot in the Elecrical Parade when I was little, too!
