Peter Pan's Flight is a ride that I am gunna make a priority to go on. But other members in my party are trying to talk me out of it. They are saying it is way to sissy. I was wondering if anyone has been on it lately and could tell me about it. Is it worth the wait in line? What happens in this ride? :clown:

It's amazing, it's magic! There's absolutely nothing "exciting" about it, but it's one of the best attractions in Fantasyland. There's a reason the line is long.

What is it? You get in a "flying ship," really just a cart suspended from the track above. The ship moves above a cityscape of London at night and through other scenes from Peter Pan. Music plays...you feel like you're flying through the movie.

The dar rides in Fantasyland should not be missed--they remind us of where Disney began and what is still Magical about the Kingdom.

It's so worth the wait!

Ever time I ride it, I see something new! It's a classic...Don't miss it!
I would, however, plan on using FP. Otherwise, you're in for a very long wait unless you hit Fantasyland first thing in the morning :crowded:

Every time we go to Magic Kingdom, this is what we do. We go to Fantasyland first, and then do the other rides like Splash, Haunted Mansion, etc.

Sure it's sissy, but so what? Aren't you there to be a kid again? I know I am!

I agree, It's MAGICAL! you feel like you are part of the movie no matter what age you are! it's a MUST DO ride...be ware of the long lines though because they can take a while...SO worth it though!

If you're a teenage boy whose friends are into rides like Mission Space and Rock N Roller Coaster,....Peter Pan would definitely qualify as being a "sissy" ride.

But if you want to ride it, ride it - with or without them!

It's a must see!

And one of the first rides we hit in MK. After Dumbo.

And we are 40, 23, 22 and 10. We still love all the rides in Fantasyland. I'm in Disney to get away from the real world, I'm going to take in everything I can, and I so enjoy the fun of being a grown kid.

I faced the same problem when I was with a school group back in 1989. they did not want to ride any kiddie rides. So I talked the group into riding and when they flew over London, these tough guys thought that was the coolest thing they had ever seen.

It's a classic! Everyone should go in it at least once. This trip we went on it 5 times. Get on it early or be sure to get a fastpass because the line can get long!!!

Don't miss the ride, your in FantasyLand, its all part of the Magic of Disney, and don't miss the Pooh ride , or Dumbo, or SnowWhite, and my favorite Small World, and don't forget your cup of tea at the Mad Tea Party, you're there to be a Kid again. Enjoy every minute.

My favorite ride! (but then again I am a girl :rotfl2: ) But Dh likes it and ds(12) still wants to go on so while it is not any kind of thrill ride- it is a magical one! Oh and my DS is more of a Rollercoaster guy- but he still enjoys this one(but he pretends he is only going on for his little brothers)

my favorite part of the ride is when you fly by the volcano and you can see how much time disney really spent on the last referishment. Because when you look in the volcano you see crumbled up alluminum foil lining it's inside. wow disney magic.

yuk yuk

honesly i think its a good attraction, it does need it's audio cleaned up it's showing it's age.

I like to ride it, it's a classic. But I would not wait in a long line, definitely fastpass it.

A must do every trip for us. We usually go on it at least 5-7 times. Magic Kingdom is our favorite park-usually make 2-3 trip to MK on our visits and usually ride Peter Pan 2-3 times each day. Don't miss it! ;)

OK - I'm in the minority. The ride itself is ok. Definately not one of my favorites but not unbearable either. My kids love it so we have to do it a few times for them but I refuse to wait mor than 15 minutes for it!!!
