We are in line right now for Peter Pan. I thought this was a constant loading ride?? Got in line with 60 min Disney posted wait and it's been 75 minutes and still in bedroom area of the queue. Any news or ideas on why this line is barely moving?

I've never understood why PP moves so slowly but I think that line is always is a crawler and is not unique to today. I think that while yes the rides always moving, it's not a large capacity ride. Sometimes it's just bad luck of the draw and posted wait times are delayed and you happen to get in line when the waits increase. Hopefully it gets a bit faster.

When we were there pre-G+ we witnessed DAS groups being let in front of us and some other VIP and guest recovery of some sort being let in in front of THEM. Again, this was all pre-G+. It's a low-capacity ride - anyone let in in front of you is going to have a decent impact on your wait time. FP killed the stand-by line at Roger Rabbits in DL - it was (maybe is again with G+) intolerable.

Sometimes it is the fault of the loader who doesn't stop the FPers at all. I also noticed when i was in it in November that many people stop to take pictures in that one area of the bedroom area which really holds up the line.

Is this your first time?
PP is always a very long and slow wait.
It loads slow, stops often, and has low hourly capcity compared to many other attractions.
Not unusual for it to be a 75-90 minute wait all day.
Honestly I don't think the new queue helps because people don't keep up with the party in front of them.

As others have said, many reasons.
It is always slow to load. But more likely, stop and starts for loading and LL filled.
If the LL for PP are gone, those are a lot of people that will be loaded before you are.

Peter Pan's wait times are one of Disney's little mysteries that I'm not sure anyone will understand. It seems like the wait would be faster for a continual load, and for most of them, it is. This one is different. Always has been, always will be

But really, how does this slow down the wait time? Gaps in the line don't change the number of people in front of you. I get that it can slow down line movement but by the time folks are ready to load, they are back to back to back. I've never, ever seen the line stop in the bedroom and have a huge gap to the load point. There is still a significant wait time after the bedroom part.

My guess is because Space Mountain has a much higher capacity than Peter Pan so they can sell more ILLs per day at Space Mountain.

People stopping and creating a gap allows for more LL folks to walk right up just as it has for years.
Not saying the new queue is the only reason but it has added to it.
