Hi

is the peter pan ride a busy one? we didnt get to do it last year and next week really want to try and get my little one on this ride. Is it fast pass?

Does fast pass mean you have to put your entrance ticket in a machine and then you get another ticket - I didnt see any last year so am a bit confused...:confused3 also can 5 of us get fast pass tickets for one ride so we can all go on together at the same time?

Also what sort of ride is peter pan? Do you sit in something or walk through?

thanks for your help.

Peter Pan is one of the busiest rides and is indeed Fastpass. Yes, you put in your entrance ticket and are given a Fastpass ticket which is for a timeslot later in the day - unless you are really really unlucky all 5 of you should be able to get Fastpass tickets for the same time.

It's a sitdown ride in a boat which goes round a track which is suspended from the ceiling. It's a very good ride but not very long.

this might sound really dumb but do you get your park tickets back when you get your fast pass?

Yes you do

This was the one ride we didnt manage to go on last year ,so we def want to try and go on it this time round :)

on a saturday of our trip the queue for this ride was 3 hours long, it went right passed dumbo, we had a fastpass and got on the ride in two minutes. I can't believe anyone would join a queue that was 3 hours long!
during the week it was about an hour long.

:scared1:  oooooook maybe we wont be doing this again this yr lol

I would only do it if we manage to get fast passes for it ! My son is more interested in the Buzz lightyear ride ,we loved it :)

Peter Pan is a must do ride - its lovely. My kids think it's great and so do I!

If you get to the park for opening go straight to Fantasyland and do Peter Pan first then get a fast pass for later.

If Dumbo is on your "must do rides" that and Peter Pan should be done first because later in the day the queues will be horrendous and fastpasses run out.

If you like the film you'll love the ride:cheer2:

Hi, if you get a fastpass early then you will be fine.

It is definatly a 'must-do' ride!
Fast passes are great to cut the queue times down.
I would advise heading there ASAP so the FP time is as early as possible enabling you to get other FP's later in the day.

oh i definately want to get on this ride when we go. think i will be sending OH straight there on our first morning for fast passes.

by the way do the princes still do the meet and greet on the castle stage at certain time of the day?

As long as you put each person's passport in the FP machine one after the other you should get FP tickets for the same slot :)

When we were there over Easter there was no Princess meet and greet on the castle stage but we discovered them near Bella Notte cafe towards Small World by accident. This wasnt advertised as a meet and greet place.
princess:
There were the mice from Cinderella, Sleeping beauty, Ariel, Belle, Snow White, Cinderella all out at the same time and all with Princes.
princess: princess: princess: princess: princess:

It wasnt an orderly queue though like it used to be and was a more free for all.
However because DD was wearing her Belle dress as soon as Belle saw her she put her arm round her and drew her towards her

ooh i hope they still have the princess out and about to meet - thats one of the main reasons why we are returning. great tip about the dress for my daughter - think we will have to pack one of her princess dresses.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but I wanted to give my input on Peter Pan, and this was the most recent one I found in the search. And I hope I don't offend any big Peter Pan fans out there. I just wanted to put my thoughts out there for those wondering about the ride.

I honestly don't understand the immense popularity of this ride. Yes, my kids thought it was fun and wanted to ride it several times. But they felt the same way about the merry-go-round (ages 5 and 3).

I can understand that it is a popular story and film, and so everyone wants to see it, but I didn't think it was worth riding more than once, any more than was Pinochio. Although, it is a great candidate for Extra Magic Hours (EMH), early in the morning when there was almost no queue, and so we did ride it twice.

But each time I kept looking for something I was missing. It seemed too dark, and I was often confused about where to find something to look at. Perhaps this comes from sitting in the second (back) row of the ship. It seemed the scenery was usually right in front of and below the ship. I also found it rather noisy and not at all smooth, as the ships were being rattled around on the overhead track. I'd mention that it's not a very long ride, but that goes for many attractions at the park.

Maybe I'm being nitpicky, but I certainly wouldn't wait in line for it without EMH or fastpass (unless, of course, I had a little Peter Pan lover in the family pulling on my arm and crying that he hadn't seen his favorite pirate-fighter yet.)

I agree.
I like the ride and enjoy going on it each time we go but I would never queue for it. It has to be either with fast pass or during EMH.

Ive never been able to understand people queuing for 90 mins for it!!!!

This may be a dumb question, but we're going to DLP for the first time in August and wondered whether this ride is the same as at WDW or DL California. I've been on Peter Pan in both of those parks, but I don't want to line up for something I've already been on.

Thanks!

Arlene

From what I remember from WDW it is basically the same but Im sure its darker especially the first part over London which makes it harder to see anything
