Surprise for us at the park today, Peter Pan was reopened! So, it appears the refurb is complete. Enjoy!

YAY YAY YAY!!! You just made my day! I'm goin there tomorrow and bringing my little 6 year old cousin with me. He's only been once but was too young to remember and I was really hoping to take him on that one since it was one of my favorites as a kid. I was bummed when I saw it was supposed to be closed. Now I can take him!:cool1:

Glad to hear your excitement! That is one thing I love about these boards is the unexpected stuff you hear from those who are at the parks. We are here until next Friday and for my kids sake, I'm hoping Astro Orbitor opens a little earlier than planned (not to mention any fireworks, F! and Electrical Parade views!!!)

Hi,
is anything different about it or was stuff just dusted off and re-painted?

Wow - we just missed it! :sad2:
Does anyone know if they changed anything? When we were there in January my son got a bloody lip when the "lap" bar came down and hit him in the lip. The CM told us that they were going to be changing the bars so this wouldn't happen anymore. Just wondering if they did.

A CM told us that they were getting new boats and they will hold 4 people now.

Pictures?? info on the ride and how it looks /changes??

The ride is identical. Some paint touch-ups here and there, nothing noticeable unless you are a regular.

What changed is the boats. The old ones are gone, and the new ones seat four. This should really help with the lines, because previously families of four had to take two boats, and now they can take one.

Wow, it looks like they changed the colors of the sails on the boats too. There used to be only black and red, now there's blue, green, and mustard.

I know we were surprised to c it open this past Friday. Of course we still had a 45 min wait at 11pm for it =) But still totally worth the wait. We liked the new boats too.

They did add new colors but it wasn't just black & red before, they also had purple sails on the boats. The boats look the same, only the sail colors look different in those photos.
