i have been watching the MDE sight and a couple of other websites just for fun to see what wait times look like on different days etc,,, This ride always has one of the longer waits!

We have never been to MK and are going with 2 adults and girls 10 and 12. Is this ride really worth a long wait? Just curious what you think!

Can book FP tonight- wish me luck!

If you've never done it, then yes, you should.

The interactive queue is really, really pretty, in my opinion, if you've haven't seen it, it's worth the wait. Try to Fast Pass it or ride it during the late evening or extra magic hours.

But if you FP it, you skip the interactive part of the queue.

Yikes, didn't know that. I rode it during extra magic hours back in May '15 and another time in the late evening back in August '15, lines were not too bad and the beautiful queue kept us mesmerized. ;)

I find the only good time to ride this without a fastpass is right before Wishes. Get in line and hope you get out before it's over. The FP line swells as soon as Wishes is over.

I never get tired of Peter Pan. I can not believe they never duplicated that ride system (hello monsters Inc).

I rarely ride the attraction without a FP.

Oh, yeah, a Monsters, Inc. ride like Peter Pan would be cool. Riding on the doors?

I wouldn't wait more than 15 minutes and I wouldn't use a FP on it. My advice is to use a FP for 7DMT and then at park opening, while everyone else runs over there, you can ride PP and the other Fantasyland rides before the stand by waits start to climb.

I honestly thought that was what the ride in DCA was going to be. I was so excited to ride it, and then very disappointed that it wasn't that way. I think they should declare a mulligan and recreate it the "right way" at DHS. Lol. I know I am just babbling.

I think Peter Pan is the new "Dumbo" in terms of being a choke point. We always do it a rope drop. In my experience you can ride everything in Fantasyland in less than 45 minutes at rope drop (pre 7DMT, but a Fastpass on that still makes it possible.) I'd ride PP first and then move counter-clockwise through Fantasyland, ending up at 7DMT with a Fastpass 45 minuted into the day. Then on to HM, Frontierland, and Adventureland ahead of the crowds. Then go back over to Tomorrowland in the early evening after a break or during the dinner lull.
