If we go straight to PP at RD do they let you go through the stand by queue or do they send you through the FP until it starts to back up?

We did this in December and walked through the normal queue.

Cool! I missed it last trip. I only did it once with fast pass. What is the best route to get there? Through the Castle or past the HOP and up the hill past the Tangled area?

Probably through the Castle,but I don't think it will make that much difference either way at RD.

I wouldn't go past the HOP. You should be able to cut right at Sleepy Hollow refreshments and go around the west side of the castle. I think that'd be quicker than going all the way through the Tangled area. I'm not sure if that would save time over going straight through the castle, though.
