I bought level one Italian the end of January and immediately regretted not buying more levels although I am not sure I want all 5,
I whipped through it and now have gotten level two and still very much enjoying it's intuitive format.
I am a professor in a local college and was vociferously advised AGAINST getting it by two professors of Italian.
One one hand I can see their objection in that it's sometimes hard to reverse engineer Italian grammar without some expert guidance! Add in that Rosetta Stone could be job threatening!
But on whole I feel I am getting my money's worth and can even read an Italian newspaper sort of well at this point. Forget an Italian newscast though, they speak way too fast!
And I too am trying to learn because I very much want to go back to Italy after having spent 13 days there last summer.
