Pet Swap - **Progress Thread** Mailed 9/13

Bagged, tagged and ready to go, too!

But I have a question! Do we need to send a priority envelope with our package or since they are free do hostesses usually provide return envelopes?

Also, since there are just 6 in this group do you still want them in a gallon sized envelope. They are all in quart baggies.
Thanks!

I'm not the hostess, but I think I can help you out. You do not need to send a priority mail envelope. The hostess will provide that.

You should, however, put all your groups (all your quart sized baggies), into a gallon-sized bag. Your groups may fit into a smaller bag, but other people might have larger items (larger bags) and everything you are getting back may not fit into the bag you provided if it is smaller. It makes it easier for the hostess to be dealing with gallon bags for everyone.

HTH!

Thank you very much NEE! That makes sense. I have only mailed one other swap and I think I sent AWM everything but the kitchen sink!:goodvibes

What NEE said! The gallon bag is helpful because not everyone makes the same stuff so not everything will fit in the quart bags. Also, double bagging helps protect from rain.

Thanks for your question about envelopes, also. That reminds me that I have to order some more!

Thought I was finished. I came back to read info ....OOPS - it is 2 elements.

I need to make a 1/2 element for one group :I made a photo mat and 3 embellished shapes that are 3 1/2 by 3 1/2 so I think - For my second group, I made a photo mat and a tag . - I think I will make a D - matted and sewn.

I had some cute dog brads....they have vanished, so I guess I will join again next go 'round.

I will have no problem mailing on time.
