Pet Souveniers?

Where is the best shop to buy pet souveniers? My sweet Max, had his yearly check up and vaccinations today and I'm feeling guilty about it and about having to board him for a week. So I need to know where to find all the cool pet stuff. TIA

well, of course this grabbed my eye as we just brought home gifts for our chihuahua's! there's a shop in DTD ( I think it's part of that huge Disney store) that has a whole section just for pets...personally, I think Disney should jump on the bandwagon and open something like Pluto's Pet Palace stocked with goodies for us to take home to our "families"

when you walk into MK before you go down main street, there is a store to the left that has all pet stuff. it is like a fire dept or something. also, in epcot, between fw and ws there are 2 stores right on the water (you'll pass them going either way to ws) and they had a lot of pet stuff. bones, treats, dishes, toys, placemats, etc. i got some cute toys for my cats and my mom and dad got a bunch of stuff for their dog! hope your dog likes the gifts

Yes, the "Fire Dept." has lots of pet stuff. Also, there's a store on the Boardwalk, I think it's called the General Store or something like that, that has a nice selection, if I recall correctly.

Our Chihuahuas all got an t-shirt and a new Disney name tag from the Disney Tails store at DTD back in December. Now, we have the new baby, Cinderella, so if we can sneak down for a 3 night stay in June, we have to get her a name tag and a shirt too. Maggie

I agree, the DTD store. Anything you buy at Disney for pets is overpriced like everything else, but they have some really cool stuff for pets.

I have a spoiled little pooch. i have to bring her back something every year. now she gets in my suitcase, finds her stash, and then continues being mad at me for being gone for 1 week. last time i brough her back a happy holidays tag from disney tails, a long stuffed snake from ak (my dog is a little italian greyhound- funny to see her drag and shake it) and a giraffe with long floppy legs from akl. she loved them all.

I bought our dog a pretty pink princess hat from the shop in DTD she looks so cute with it on!

Our pooch sports a WDW collar we bought at the gift shop at POR. Your resort might have a few pet items.

We also got her a bandana that says, "My human went to Walt Disney World and all I got was this lousy bandana." I think we bought that on Main Street.

Almost every gift shop has an area with pet stuff now.
My favorite item we have gotten for our guy is a squeaky turkey leg. It didn't last long tho.

We got our dog a Stitch "Party Animal" bandana at the General Store at the Boardwalk. Very cute

my bigger problem is that Bella, my daughter's chi is only 4 pounds...I mean, seriously petite! and yes, I also bought her a hat ( the smallest one they had) and it's still too big for her!!

we'll be down for Mother's Day so I'm hoping to get luckier in finding her something this go-round..

We got our dachshund a tire shaped like a Mickey head right at our resort gift shop last time. That thing is amazing. He has an instinct to destroy any toy we give him - if it has a squeaker in it, he tears apart until he finds the squeaker. If it's stuffed, he rips all of the stuffing out until he just has a stuffed animal carcass to carry around the house. He unravels rope toys until they are just strings.

This tire is over a year old and it has held up amazingly. Still in Mickey shape and everything. And he gnaws it to death.

I bring home almost as many souveniers for my babies as I do for myself!
I get most of them at the Disney Tails store, but almost all of the larger gift shops have stuff.
My little Shih Tzu is sooooo much like Stitch, we got him the tshirt that says "What part of treat don't you understand?" We got the boxers the bandannas and the Mickey ears. They even have the golden ears right now.

We love shopping for them and always get them a new name tag made. And, they have the cutest Pooh and Tigger leash/collar sets.

I noticed tons of stuff for tiny tiny dogs too...so for the poster with the little dog...you should be in luck!

Our babies need some pixie dust too!!

"Princess Daisy Mae Puyear" is how we are going to register her.

I am really hoping that we will be able to find something for her that has Daisy Duck on it.

No matter what, we will definitely be buying her a WDW collar.

We got our beloved sheltie a fleece hidden Mickey. It was shaped just like Mickey's ears. My dog loved it when he got his souvenir!

I loved Disney tails in DTD.. they did'nt seem to be that expensive,, pretty comprable to the pet store chains... I got my angel baby a minnie t-shirt with gold angel wings coming out the back for $10 and minnie bows for $5.
Stop me now the dog has more clothes than I do!!
