No, not terms of endearment for your sweetheart.
For the animals in your house or yard.
Do they have typical “pet” names or “human” ones.
I’ve always chosen human names for my pets. Perhaps oddball or unusual choices, but human names nonetheless.
Currently I have a cat named Polly.
In the past there were:
Dogs: Daisy and Coleen
Parakeets: Chloe, Maude, Velma, and Mary Jane
Hamsters: Roger, Linus, Barbara, and a few others.
Even goldfish had human names.
DH has an aquarium with about 20 tropical fish and I think he named them all too. Polly cat sometimes stares but doesn’t bother them.
