Paul go for pet plan
We have a golden retriever that has epilepsy and has twice had operations to remove objects he has eaten ( socks) They have been brilliant every time. they also cover life long illness for life, alot of other companies don't!

They may be a little more expensive but if you need them they won't let you down.
Hope this helps.

PS any chance of you organising the Manchester dis meet????????????

thanks for the info.Sory work cometments unabe to help with mee:sad1:

We have a policy with More Than - the one with the dog "Lucky" in the advert. We have a westie too - they are great dogs!:)

Another vote here for PetPlan, the premiums are pretty hefty this year for us but all it takes is one illness or an accident and they're worth more than their weight in gold!

I have one with M&S and just insured our puppies with More Than.

M&S were brilliant when I had to claim.

We are - actually were now :( as my dog has tragically died recently - with Tesco, and have had no problems.

You do have to read exactly the amount that the insurance company will cover you for annually for any treatment. There are different levels of cover and it's amazing how much just treatment for one issue can mount up.

I have researched this recently - I have cover with M&S and I could not find a policy that was better in term of price and cover.

Im sticking with M&S

:goodvibes

Agree had a good look round and m and s are good.

Grandad told me they insured there dog for a lump sum one off payment but the dog has to be pedigree with papers and under 6 months old to take policy out????ill have to ask him who it was with, but they have had dogs for years so i presume they must be good.x
