I can't find my other thread ...
My poor cat has been at the vet since Monday evening. She is 16 1/2 years old and has kidney disease. My heart broke, I said goodbye and have been bracing myself.
I just spoke to the vet who said while Diana is doing better (she's alert, she's keep down food and water), her "numbers" aren't doing much better. They want me to take her home with medication, subcutaneous fluid therapy, etc. They cannot guarantee how much longer she'll live, but if she starts to decline again, that will be that.
Of course I want her home, but I don't know how I will say good-bye again. My heart hurts so much.
Thanks for listening.

to you.
I know how hard this is.

Diana was taken to the vet abruptly and you said you weren't sure if Fergie even knew she was gone.
Just think how much happier she'll be with you, and this extra time with her is like a wonderful little gift from God. I know how you feel; my heart goes out to you.
