Pet id tag machines

There is a one at HS in the Pizza Planet arcade. We bought tags there for our dachshunds two years ago and they are still in great shape. A Mickey for the male dog and a tinkerbell for the female.

We are always looking for those machines to see what is new and different. Someone mentioned the Pluto at test track. I think I will get that one next.

Has anyone seen any Toy story ones? Our dogs are woody and slinky and I would love to have toy story ones for them.

tinkerbell for the female.

My dogs name is Tinker Bell - I have to find this for her. I'm such a bad mom, I never even noticed these machines! As I'm reading where they are, I remember seeing the machines and thinking they were coin presses.

There's some cool pirate ones in the POTC gift shop. They were sold out of the Mickey shaped one that had the POTC logo, so we opted for a pink heart shaped "Pirate Princess" for our dog. She's a girl so it fits, and she has a pink skull & crossbones collar, but I really wanted the Mickey shaped one! pirate: We had gotten her one a couple years ago, standard Mickey head/face, at the Land pavilion, and I do remember seeing the machine still there when we were there 2 weeks ago.

Our Walmart has a Mickey bone id tag. We put my son's information on it and placed it on his shoe. "In case he lost his shoe" - it was perfect!

As far as Hollywood Studioes goes, Legends of Hollywood (across from Villains in Vogue), In Character (outside the Little Mermaid attraction), and the covered, outdoor Toy Story shop in Pixar Place.

Thanks for all the info! We will be looking for these on our next trip. I always get engraved dog tags for my boys lunchboxes and back packs (with their name and teacher's name), but the older one recently complained that it looked like it was for a dog...so a Disney themed one will be perfect!

Petco sells tag protectors (silencers) in the heart, circle and bone shapes. It really helped to keep the design from wearing off. The tags cost $10.00.

That's exactly what I was going to say. In early '09 (or possibly '05) I got my service dog the Pluto bone-shaped tag (at The Seas' gift shop) and put a silencer on it. She has worn it 24/7 since then and it still looks excellent, almost perfect. For the summer, she also had a similar type of tag from the machine at Petco/Petsmart with the vacation address on it - this tag is at least a couple years old, but only worn in the summer. It fared fine until the silencer broke off it and it quickly became ruined with the front design getting chipped off. So, the silencers definitely are good protection for the tag designs! (They also do cut down on the tag noise!)

I'm planning on getting another Disney tag on my upcoming trip. Thanks for the info. in this thread that there is a Tinker Bell tag, as now I know to look for that one! :thumbsup2

I got both of our dogs the Mickey head its silver on both sides (got it in the Nemo gift shop in Epcot about 4 years ago) I love it because it is Mickey shaped but nothing on it to rub off... no paint... they still look brand new... every trip I look for more and they don't seem to have the plain one in any of the machines anymore. The others are cute... But I wouldn't like it after the design rubbed at all.... so I was so disappointed that they don't carry the plain one anymore...
