We are planning a trip to WDW in January and will be staying off-site. I have been seeing a lot of posts lately about pets in hotels. Although I love animals, my asthma doesn't. Are there any 4* or resort-level hotels in the WDW area that don't allow animals? Of the ones that do allow animals, has anyone ever been able to get a "pet-free" room?

Thanks for any assistance.

There are actually more hotels that don't allow animals than those that do. Once you find a hotel your interested in, I'd check their policy. Possibly even call them direct to see for sure their pet policy.

none of the WDW hotels allows pets. doesn't mean your neighbor won't try to slip one in - just call the front desk.

they will be told to take their pet to a kennel. if they don't comply they will be asked to leave.

the only 4 star that does allow pets in the Loews hotels - Universal on site.

even the places that allow pets only allow them in certain rooms. So if you are bring a pet it is necessary to call before arriving and get a pet-friendly room.

I think some of the Marriotts might allow pets - Renaissance/Fairfield Inn comes to mind. Renaissance would be considered a 4 star - Fairfield Inn would not be.
