Pet Friendly Furnished Apartments during the DCP?

Hi everyone!

I will be doing the Spring 2011 DCP and I have a dog that I do not want to leave behind at home. She is very attached to me, and gets unnerved even when I'm gone overnight so I think 5 months would make her very upset.

Since I can't stay on Disney Housing with a dog, I was wondering if anyone knew of some reasonably priced pet friendly furnished apartment complexes nearby?

I have been doing some digging and I was looking at McKinley's site - particulary the Portofino Apartments and The Element.

I will be in FL this weekend visiting the two I mentioned above.

I have actually been debating getting a non-furnished apartment too and just getting an air mattress and some cheap furniture to hold me over until I have more concrete plans. I found one from Equity Housing right across the street from the Vista Way apartments that I will try and visit this weekend, hopefully that will work out!
