Pet free rooms?

When I made a reservation for RPR, I told them I have allergies and wanted a pet-free room. I later called back to switch to club level.

A few days before arrival, I got a call from the Club level people. They said my reservation showed that I have allergies and wanted a room where I could bring my pet. They wanted to be sure I knew that I couldn't have a pet on club level. And they were confused as to why I would be bringing a pet if I have allergies.

I would call the reservation number and say I have allergies, but I wouldn't use the term "pet-free room." I would say, "I cannot be on the floor where the dogs are" or something like that.

Yes, just let them know ahead of time that you are allergic and they will place you well away from the pet rooms. I'm not a fan of pets in rooms. There are hotel chains we have to avoid because they place pets in ANY room, so you can't be guaranteed a pet-free room. :headache: I want a hotel room, not a kennel. :sad2:

hrh will work with you on your request.
in the past years, pet rooms were only in the standard rooms.

you won't have an issue.
they have rooms that never have had pets i them.

We just returned from our second trip to HRH and we did bring our dog (again). Dogs are only allowed in certain rooms on the first floor, so the rest of the hotel is safe from any type of pet dander.

Within the hotel, the dogs are only allowed in the room and the lobby. You won't find them by the pool, restaurants, etc.

And to the poster that doesn't want to sleep in a kennel, I don't either. The vast majority of animal owners keep their animals very clean and well groomed, not covered in urine and feces or full of various odors.

Op, I hope you have a wonderful trip.

Just call and put in a request.I had no problems getting it fulfilled since i have bad allergies and asthma
