We are thinging of taken Walter (our dog) whit us to Disney next time. We are staying ín a apartment near Val d europe, but dont wanna let him be alone all day, so do you have eny info about the animal center in disneyland prices, place ect.
Have a nice Weekend:thumbsup2

hiya
no idea bout the centre - surely a kennels near ur home is better for him?? if u take him with u - that is a long journey for him and not very fair (i trust u will drive??), and then, u will not be able to spend much time either at disney, or with him?!?!

i have a dog, and would not think of taking him to disney, as its not a holiday for dogs - so much better to put him in kennels for the time u are away?

i agree nikki, i have kept dogs my whole life and never once thought of bringing them on a holiday where they will not be with me anyway. it would be much easier to put him in a kennel at home

Sorry I'm another one for the 'keep the dog at home' ...you'll enjoy your holiday 10 times better without worrying about Walter. Not really sure if they have places for dogs maybe phone the hotel you plan staying at and ask? Take it from there if you feel you would prefer taking him?

When is it you are going? Have a great time either way chick! x

after having a look online it says you need to have your pet microchipped, have a rabies certificate and have a valid eu pet passport. if you do decide to bring him make sure you meet the above conditions.

sorry i cant find any prices online

eh?

So your thinking of taking your dog on a long trip all the way to DLP to then put him in the kennel so his not alone?

Sorry I see no point in putting your dog through all that travel to then put him in a kennel, just leave him in a kennel at home - he'll appreciate it a lot more.

Sounds silly to me to even consider it - sorry.

Are the apartments you staying at Dog friendly? whats the place your staying at called?

I'm with the others in that I think you're far better to put Walter in a kennels close to your home and spare him the long journey only to be left with strangers. If I remember correctly he's quite a new pet so probably hasn't been kennelled before? The kennels I take my dogs to have an induction programme for first-time dogs where they go first for a free day visit, then a free overnight, then when the 'proper' holiday comes round they are accustomed to the staff, surroundings, and routine, and settle happily without problems which means I can have a 'guilt-free' holiday. Take your time to check out the kennels in your area to find one you like ~ I looked at three before choosing the one I use. I'm sure both Walter and you will enjoy your holidays much better this way plus next time he needs to be kennelled he'll be going somewhere familiar and reassuring. :thumbsup2
