Pescatarian / Vegetarian Quick Service Options?

I did a search on this but a lot of the information seems outdated and, surprisingly to me, there seem to be dwindling options at WDW parks for vegetarians and even pescatarians, particularly at Quick Service locations.

Yes, I know I can make reservations and spend a ton of money (and time) at table service places, but I'd really like to get a good list of quick service items on the 4 parks menus as of late 2016.

The veggie burger option seems to have disappeared at Cosmic Rays, with only the falafel option (tried it -- YUCK) and Pecos Bill's after it switched to mexican, once had a veggie burrito that is now no longer on the menu. The veggie sandwich I loved at Backlot Studios disappeared and the only thing at the Commissary was the Asian Salad, hold the chicken.

Columbia Harbor House seemed to be the best (and close to only) option in the MK.

If any of you have gone recently and found good Veg/Pesc options at Quick Services places in any of the parks, could you please share? Going again in December and would love to discover the best places to plan for when we're in the parks and on the go.

TIA!

I was at cosmic rays last week and thought sure I saw a veggie burger option! Could have been mistaken.
In epcot I had fish tacos at the quick service in mexico. They were delicious and came with rice and beans. Our resort had a mahi Mahi sandwich that was tasty. That was at cbr... other resorts may have a fish option too.

I found that even if the veggie burger is not listed they usually have it. Of course that is if the place serves burgers which a lot of CS do. I also had a really good and surprisingly fresh Greek salad at cosmic rays last year. Last trip was in April and we spend the majority of time at F&G so we didn't really do much CS in our last trips, but generally I never found it hard to find something to eat at Disney. The options and are not always good though lots carbs option but little protein alternatives.

Sunshine Seasons in Epcot has options. I liked the salmon. They have veggie flatbread that sounds good.
Here's a link to the menus http://allears.net/dining/menu If you are not familiar with the restaurant names, you may need to look at the DDP, to determine which ones are quick service.

This is from wdwinfo. It is a majority of the quick service eateries. I apologize if this is the list you have looked at. BOG has some items that may fit your needs.. :) I found at least one vegetarian/pescatarian item on the 6 random menus I looked at.

We have a friend that is a pescatarian (I called her a "fishatarian" for years. :) ) and she will be going with us for the Dopey Challenge in Jan. I looked over tons of menus to make sure she had something to eat at each restaurant we went to. We are doing TS meals for a majority of our trip though. :)

The electric umbrella i believe has a veggie flatbread

When we were at Ray's Saturday night after Wishes, the Bay that I could've gotten the salad at was closed. I asked if they still had a veggie burger and he said they only had the Falafel one, which I ordered and found really, really dry and gross. :/

Thanks for the link!

Using it to narrow down to Studios and just Quick Service, here's what I was able to dig out that would work, and I was surprised that these are all entirely vegetarian. There is apparently no fish at quick service ANYWHERE in the park. Weird.

We're going this week, and all of our favorites seem to still be available according to the restaurant menus. Bean tacos at La Cantina (not on the menu, but they always make them for us).

thanks for the tip! Very often we're starting World Showcase/Mexico and hitting lunchtime, so that's good to know!

If I may make a suggestion. Sanaa has an amazing bread service. It is reasonably priced and will definitely be filling. You can "splurge" and get all of the dipping sauces for the different breads you can get. If you did an 11:30 (when they open) reservation and did bread service and a drink (soda or other) you wouldn't spend much and it would be worth it with the views of the animals and such.

This is the menu. The item I am talking about is Indian Style Bread Service in the appetizers ($11.49). :)

That's a shame, and can be pretty common when someone has a veggie burger option. Either it is too dry or tastes like a Boca burger from the freezer. I like Boca Burgers sometimes, but I don't want to pay $12 for one.

Thanks for all of the suggestions, @DemonLlama! I am not a vegetarian, but I do like to eat healthy in the parks for part of my trip. Sometimes the vegetarian options are the best way.

You could also check out Tiffins. Get an appetizer or two wouldn't be that much more than a meal at a QS eatery. :)

Or the Nomad Lounge.. :)

thank you for the suggestions!

We are so often on the QS Dining Plan and in the parks during meals, it might be a nice break to get out of the park and over to a resort for a change at some point!

No problem. I wasn't sure if you were willing to pay OOP or not so I threw the last two in there. :) The good thing is that Tiffins and Nomad Lounge are at Animal Kingdom so you don't have to leave the parks for those two if you don't want to.

Sanaa on the other hand is a TS eatery but at $11.49 for the Indiana Style Bread Service it may be worth leaving the park for. We go to Sanaa on each of our trips. We are going to check out the Nomad Lounge on our trip that starts next Saturday (9/24/16) to see what they have to offer. We do the DlxDP on all of our trips though. :)

I can understand how it will be hard to order something late night specially since they did have an alternative option.

One thing to add about the Sanaa bread... If you eat there toward the end of your trip and get extra (probably an extra order for most...I'm solo, so I couldn't finish it), you can put it in a ziploc bag and take it home! I put it in my luggage and heated it up at home. It was so good! Also, it was fun to bring a piece of Disney back home.
