Lima day one and two

We flew from O'Hare to Miami Nice flight no issues. Asked for directions to our next gate and a nice man on a golf cart gave us a ride. It was about 2 miles away. Anyway boarded our next flight and waited for anhour and a half for them to fix the first class restroom( wouldn't want them to have to pee back in coach) so we arrived in Lima late and there was a madhouse at immigration. We finally got through and made our way to get our luggage and them met up with our Adventures driver who took us to our hotel Casa Andina Private Coleection in Miraflores section of Lima

The next morning we had a delicous breakfast in the hotel and then met up with our friends Dale and Karen ( you may remember them from many previous adventures)

Then we met our Disney Adventures guides Armando and Allejandra. They gave us some info and we hit the street.

We were going to a HOOTERS but when we arrived it was CLOSED for remodeling. We are counting it anyway since it wasnt our fault it was closed!

We ate lunch in a little place that had outdoor seating overlooking the coast.

Then off we went in a bus to the town of Chinchera. elv 12500 ft THIN AIR
We were served a lunch of traditional Peruvian foods and except for a brief rain shower (Coleens side of the table did not stay dry) had a great meal.
Then we were able to observe the local ladies practicing their craft of weaving. The ladies were all very friendly and happily showed us all their skills with yarns made of Lambs wool, Llama and Alpaca. They are very skilled and made beautiful items
