Persons with Strollers...FYI!

The birds will do it to. One trip I saw birds steeling stuff out of strollers parked near the Treehouse in adventure land.

I love it! My grandpa has had two pet squirrels in the last 10-15 years so too me seeing this is adorable! Thanks for the share!

When we were at Pop in April, we sat outside to eat lunch one day, and the family sitting next to us had a bird fly down, land on the table and grab a potato chip off a plate and fly away with it. I thought the lady was going to die from shock. I kept watching, and then it happened again, with a different bird. So it's not just squirrels.

We have the same problem at our local zoo, except it's with crows. They're sure smart birds! No stroller (or food item) is safe.

For the person who was letting the squirrel eat out of his hand (and sit on his knee!), wow. I work with animals hands-on at the zoo in my town, and I'd never let a wild animal eat from my hand. Too much chance of being bitten, especially since your fingers smell like food, too. Yikes!

A bird litterally grabbed a churro from my hand in MK  Since I was holding it thightly, he only got away with half of it but still... :faint:

We were at AKP last month and a squirrel ran across the path in front of us while we were on the Pangani Forest Exploration Trail, and he was carrying a bag of chips!

We were curious as to what was going on so we stopped and observed that the squirrels were going over to the stroller parking area and checking out the strollers!

We got a good laugh out of watching them and imagined at some time someone in the family was getting blamed for not packing the snacks in the bag! LOL

So, just a heads up...Do not leave food items in your parked strollers!

We had a squirrel stop and peak in our stroller basket but he left once he realized there was no food. My oldest thought it was hilarious

just had too

I went to Temple University here in Philadelphia and the first thing we were told as freshman was to beware of the squirrels! I routinely saw them run off with full 6-packs of peanut butter crackers, entire soft pretzels, you name it. One day I went to throw my trash out and one literally jumped at me and another girl from inside the lid! They were the most well-fed wild animals I've ever seen, and of course not afraid of humans. We were actually afraid of them and would back away from our tables slowly when they approached!

When in Disney last week we saw many brazen squirrels completely undeterred by humans or even the ducks right next to them. I don't have a stroller (yet) but will definitely remember these photos for future reference, and to remind me to take things with me!

I wouldn't worry about the squirrels. Try watching the stroller parking area near The Seas after dusk. Rats. Everywhere.

I also have pictures of a bandit squirrel in the Animal Kingdom. Stole a small Disney Parks bag from a stroller and took off. I don't know what was in the bag but that squirrel sure wanted it!

Hey fellow Owl!! I actually saw a CM at BOG, and one at California Grill that both had Temple on their name tags last week. They were so excited I was a fellow Owl! Hm....maybe they accidentally brought said squirrels down with them, who are now helping to train the Disney squirrels to be diaper bag assassins...

I had a bird eye up my breakfast at CBR. I kept a close eye on him, thankfully he didn't make off with my Mickey waffles!

That was too funny, smart little devils. Can't you just see them all meeting up at gang headquarters and comparing their loot.

A while back, it seemed like I was in a scene from Finding Nemo with the seagulls all squawking "Mine...Mine...Mine". We were sitting near the water eating churros in Mexico. There were about 15 birds, some sitting on the railings and the others staying right in front flying over the water. Luckily, they did not show up until we were about done, but they were getting loud.

We saw the birds all over the strollers in AK in the stroller parking area.
How about the tall bird (can't remember the name) outside at Pecos Bill? He's swooped in and grabbed food off tables. We saw him last October and were warned by a nice gentleman from the UK, who had his food stolen the year prior.
Flametree in AK last year; the birds fly in over your table and the duck on the ground was especially funny, just waiting for an opening! On the positive side, the Hyacinth Macaw that flew over our table was beautiful! Never saw one that close up before.
