Persons Unknown...anybody watching? (SPOILERS)

I didn't see a thread for this show and I hope I'm not starting a duplicate one!

I LOOOOOOOOVE this show! I am completely confused and lost trying to figure it out,but it has me hooked. I started recording it and I keep going back to watch them over and over for any hints or clues...and I could watch Jason Wiles all day

So are they any others out there that have been drawn into this? Any theories?

I watched the first episode and thought it was really good. I have the next two episodes on the DVR and am thinking I should watch them tonight. After I'm caught up I'll come back so we can discuss it LOL

I saw it this week for the first time and it peeked my interest, so I set the series to record.

I tried to read online what the first couple of episodes were about. Basically these seven people wake up one day in this town and they have no idea how they got there (they don't know each other). The town has cameras all over the place so someone is watching. Do I have that right?

I don't get the night watchman? Who is he? And what is with the poisonous gas? Are they trying to kill the people? Why don't the people just start walking down the road and keep walking?

Something like that....I've seen bits and pieces. They don't just walk out because there is some sort of force field preventing them from leaving.

I think the show has its high points and its definite low points, but I'm in for the duration. My theory is that they all were seeing the same psychiatrist and now the doctor is doing an experiment. Why? I have no idea. My biggest annoyance is that none of them has discussed what they have in common. Wouldn't that be your first task after realizing you were truly trapped?!

Janet is the most annoying character evah!

ETA- While the night manager seemed like he was not one of 'them', we saw in the last episode that he was able to circumvent the 'pain guns'. It's definitely unclear.

Fiance and I are watching and LOVING it!! I know this is just for the summer, but I hope they expand it somehow and make a series out of it.

They can't just walk out of town because there is some kind of implant under their skin that delivers a tranquilizer dose if they try.

What happened to the guys in the Chinese restaurant? They pulled up in a van in the first episode and opened the place up, but in the last episode I saw, it looked like the restaurant was empty again?

DH, DS, DD and I are all hooked on this show now, and it is providing some very interesting family discussions.

I won't deny that there are definite low points! It seems very disjointed at times,but that may also be what they want us to feel. The characters don't know what is going on and they want us to feel that same confusion...or it could be bad writing

I'm still trying to form an actual theory. I think some of them might be plants,tho, while the others have been abducted. Certain things just don't add up with some of the characters.I want to know more about the hotel manager and creepy grandma!

Actually,they removed the implants from themselves in the 2nd episode. There is some kind of underground shield that sends out microwaves to keep them all in.

Last week, they attempted to escape during a storm and stole the Chinese waiters van. Moira(the crazy girl) distracted the waiters. They did "escape" long enough to drive right back into town My guess is no more Chinese food for them.

I haven't watched tonights episode yet but I think this is a great show. Up until 2 minutes ago I kept debating with myself if that one guy ( sorry, can't keep names straight ) was the guy from Ferris Buelller's Day Off and a bunch of other stuff. I checked IMDB and sure enough it's him.

the show was moved from 10:00 pm ET to 8:00 pm ET. i believe next week it also moves from monday to saturday (july 17). you can watch any episodes you missed at nbc.com. that's what i had to do last week, b/c i missed it too!
