Personalized Menus

Hi!

How do I go about getting personalized menus at the Wave, CG, and Kona? Do they do this at Akershus?

I'm not 100% sure, so correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you have to call the restaurant in advance and ask for them.

I think only a few restaurants do the personalized menus.

California Grill might be one.

A personalized menu, is a menu that they add photos and you can have things like Happy Birthday/Anniversary, etc added to them. I had one made for my niece for her first trip to WDW. You get to keep them.

When dining at Narcoossee's I received a menu that said "Happy Birthday Tricia" with balloons on it. It was very nice and a total surprise. My birthday was noted on my reservation and we all got menus with a birthday greeting.

Coral Reef used to do personalized menus with pictures, but have stopped this year. Rumor is because they were overrun with Personalized Menu requests. (Think greetings like - Happy Trip, Happy Day, You're sweet, etc) which encompassed every single person at the restaurant instead of just those with anniversaries, birthdays, engagements, etc. The official word from Disney is because "Year of a Million Dreams" ended.

(Of course it probably would have tied in with "What Will You Celebrate" )

1) Any sit-down eatery can do a personalized menu.
2) Call the eatery, or tell the podium when you get there.
3) The eatery can say yes or no.
4) However, if you get one depends upon

. . . how busy they are
. . . phase of the moon
. . . if they like you
