I ordered park maps for my family about a month ago, and they came in the mail yesterday. :cool1: I didn't even realize they did something like that until I was playing around on the WDW theme park site. We picked the places in each park that we wanted to make sure we didn't miss, and they put them all on a map for us, along with a few other suggestions.

We got one for each park...but my favorite map is the one of the WDW property. I always wondered how the parks and resorts laid out in relation to each other. On this map you can see where all of the resorts are, and the parks too. FW is represented by a cabin and campfire.

One of the few FREE things that Disney still offers.:thumbsup2

Those maps are really nice. Printed on nice, thick parchment paper. Would make a great framed picture in a TT with wall space.

We did this about 3 months ago, aren't they cool, but we didn't get the one with the whole wdw shown :(

Shannone, aren't those cool? You can't order another set until 6 months after your first. I ordered two so I can frame them (they have one park on each side of the map) and put them on the wall in our Walt Disney World room (I didn't mention that room in the 'you might be a WDW/FW freak' thread because I really don't need to to wake up one morning and see there are people at the front door with straight jackets -they're coming to take me away ho ho hee hee).

ROFL :rotfl:

I think I will another another set before we go so that I can have one framed. Maybe that one will say "Hollywood Studios" instead of MGM.

We got three pieces of paper. 2 of them were the 4 parks...one of each side. The 3rd piece of paper had a map of all of the Disney properties and then a letter for our family on the other side of it.

BTW, the maps are fantastic! I have 3 or 4 sets of them now! They are the 1st thing I recommend to anyone who's trip I'm helping to plan!

You just dont hear (or see) the word parchment very often. Did you see National Treasure over the week end.:rotfl2:

Ok let me in on this where do you get these at ? I got the dvd but that was all. popcorn::

Well that is cool. I have been looking for something that includes the monorail system. Is that included?

I think I may be a dollar late because I can print out the maps myself but there is no where to order the maps . :confused3

Are you sure? I know I can't because I've ordered them in the last 6 months. Why don't you go to "My Disney Vacation" and start over. Sign in and all that. If you followed my link, maybe the site thinks you're me? :confused3

:goodvibes I use parchment paper all the time...we do alot of school projects around here (with 4 school age kids, ya aint got much choice!!) and they always want their report cover page done in caligraphy on parchment.

I havent seen the new Nat'l Treasure yet...but the first one was pretty good.
