Personalized Ear Hats

Taking DS2 to DLR for his first Disney trip soon! Where is the best selection of Mickey ear hats and where can I get it embroidered? Are embroider wait times anything to be concerned about?

If you purchase early in the day, your wait time shouldn't be that long. My favorite stores for ear hats (where they will also sew the names) is the World of Disney Store in DTD and the Mad Hatter in FL.

Oh, good questions! I am interested in people's opinions on the hats, too. I just want to get the kids classic ears, but I know once they see the amazing options, they will want something else. {le sigh}
Do they embroider names on those Lightyear-tire ear hats seen in the photos for one of the Cars Land shops? Or is that one of the many items CL has completely run out of?

I had heard they were out of the tire hats until the fall, but I'm not totally certain on that. From the photos, I don't really see a place you could embroider them, but you never know!

One other thing you can do if you are worried about the time is to order ears from the Disney Store. I got my DD3 some for her first trip a couple of years ago, and they are able to embroider them and everything. They don't have a huge selection, but they have a decent variety. World of Disney definitely has the biggest selection, and some of them are so cute! I want to weep every time I see the Dumbo ears, they are so adorable.
