I don't know the situation of the original poster, nor the ages of the people this is for......but I know I would never put anything personalized outside my front door with young kids in the house. Any stranger will know at least your last name and some kids can be duped into thinking it is someone the family knows because they can greet you with your last name.
Same with a picture matt......I don't want the person placing yard maintenance flyers in my doorknob to necessarily know that I have five darling kids living here......Paranoid, maybe....fierce protector of my kids---all the way!!!!
