Personal Vacation Itinerary

During my honeymoon my future wife and I will hope to be dining at Cinderella's Royal Table. I was told I would be getting a Personal Vacation Itinerary 6 months before the trip. I've also heard that I have to get my reservations to the Royal table 6 months in advance. Should I put my reservation on the Itinerary or call the Royal Table 6 months early?
