We're celebrating 2 bdays this year - my 83yo MIL and my DS4. We will have 3 table service dinners, and I was thinking about ordering each of them a special cake. We'll be dining at Cape May, Teppan Edo, and Tonys.

I saw pics of the little treasure chest cake that would be great for my DS. Does anyone know if this cake is available at most restaurants and if it has to be ordered in advance?

Also, I saw pics of the chocolate filled chocolate slipper that would be perfect for the MIL, but I've only seen it referred to at CRT. Is this available elsewhere??

Thanks!
Deb

I do not think the slipper is available at any of those restaurants - from what I understand it is only at CRT, Grand Floridian restaurants or the Contemporary's restaurants.

My daughter used to work at the captain's grill restaurant and she said you as long as you stay at the resort you can order it. She said the treasure chest cake is very small 2x4 and in her mind not worth it. It's a small bundt cake in a plastic treasure chest. She said is not worth it. She said when she worked there you had to order it through private dining and they deliver it to he restaurant. She didn't know about the slipper.

I think the slipper is only available at CRT and 1900 PF but I could be wrong. It is however good and served with lots of strawberries and pound cake at CRT.
