Personal question, do you look your age?

i am 26..almost 27. i look barely 16! talk about problems. i dont mind getting carded. that i understand. but adults tend to talk to me like i am a child! my DS is 6! believe me when i say i am not a child. i also used to run a restaurant. try doing that when you look like a kid. no one takes you seriously. but the absolute worst thing that has happened to me so far because of my looks was last spring. i decided i wanted a pretty new ring. boyfriend said ok, whatever you want. so i go to the mall to look at jewelery. couldnt get half the stores to show me anything because i look so young. i also have a problem being waited on just about anywhere i go.

Well, as I approach 59 in a few months, I know I do not look younger, usually always taken for older. Do I look over 60 yet, guys?

I did buy beer for the neighborhood guys (and myself) a few months before I was 16, so back then, I know for sure I looked older.

Honestly I have no idea. My guess is that I probably look younger than I really am but I have no clue. I used to be able to buy cigs for my friends all the time in high school so I know then I looked much older but not a clue about now.

No I don't. I never have. My brothers all grew facial hair at one point in their 20's to look older, it didn't work!

I love to tell people how old I really am...they are always amazed.

No, everyone is surprised when I tell them I'm 26 (they all think I'm somewhere between 18 and 23 and when I'm wearing something like I'm wearing now-jeans, a white oxford shirt, not much makeup, and my hair pulled up in a ponytail I get mistaken for 16 or so.) The funny thing is that when I was 12, I got mistaken for about 17.

People are never far off when they guess my age, they always guess between 21-25 and I am 25.

tc, I hope my post didn't offend. Truly, I have been amazed at your age and your young looks. I think you are the youngest woman I have ever seen. That is nothing but a compliment and envy.
Anyway, I have been thinking. Maybe I'll tell people I am 44 instead of almost 38 & I will be told (for once ) that I look younger than my years.

No. I was flying home from Orlando and I was wearing a backpack. I overheard a flight attendant comment on my being a student and that there were many students coming down there. I'm 30

I used to look a lot younger than my physical age. That is until my hair started falling out. And my remaining hair started to turn grey. Now people think that I'm older than my physical age. Go figure.

i don't know what age i look. i'm almost 19 and some people think i'm older, some younger. i guess it's hard to tell. sometimes i don't mind, but most of the time it is quite annoying.

people really think i'm younger than i am when they have know me most of my life. they go "you can't be that old, i remember when you were...." i hate that.

i have had a few people be really suprised when i told them my age, thinking i was in my 20's.
