Has anyone had any problems bringing in their own GPS's on the plane in their carry on's? These items are a little too expensive to consider sending through checked bags ??

You're allowed to bring them on board. Some airlines let you use them when they let you use other electronic stuff and others won't.

I've had no problem bringing my GPS in my carryon. Just make sure it is in the bag and not on your person (just like the cell phone rules) and you will be fine.

They allow you to bring them on in your carry-on baggage no problem. As one poster above noted, some airlines allow you to use them and others may not.

We like to play "guess where we are now" when we fly. If you have a model with an altimeter it's even more entertaining in flight.

Just came back last week from MCO, my DH had it in his carryon.

No problems :thumbsup2

Have a great trip
