We're going to be driving to the world from Texas and we'd like to get one for the trip.

Any advice on features/brands to look for?

Thanks!

We have a couple of them. When we bought our Sienna, we had them installed in the headrests of the front seat. So now when it is my turn to drive, my son and husband can sit in the middle row and watch movies (either the same one or two different ones at the same time). We just got a smaller 7" Sony to use on the plane when we flew to California. It was a flat screen in a slide in case. No flip up screen. It cost about $175 at Best Buy and has a great picture. Two people can use earphones to listen at the same time. And it also has a base with speakers so you can use it in a hotel room. It runs on batteries or AC power.

I have a Mintek 8" screen that I take EVERYWHERE with me when I travel. It's pretty lightweight and compact. You can search eBay for this brand and get a screaming deal!

I took it on the plane with me the last time we flew to WDW and it was a lifesaver...not having to listen to the girl across the aisle trying to pick up on some dude for 3 hours would have been the end of me.

hi little teapot, my question is how many kids do you have? We bought Kawasaki, it's a dual player with dual screens and up to 4 headphones. So the kids can watch different movies, or one one can watch a movie and one can play video games, We bought them at Target for 200.00.
