Personal DLP Traditions

[Disney D]

We all enter the park using seperate turnstyles and see who can be first in the park! How childish! but fun. Our traditional first ride is the Railroad. We take a round trip back to Main St and try to resist getting off at some of the lands it stops at. (we don't always make it back to Main ST .) After that it's anything we fancy in any order. At some point we must have a hot chocolate from the Cable car bakery and a snack in Studio 1, love the atmosphere there. Our last tradition is Teatime at Plaza gardens on our last day before getting ready to leave DLP and board the Eurostar. We do do sooooooo much more than that but they are our traditions that we MUST do.

We can't avoid Pinocchio in DLRP since we got stuck in front of the wooden boy singing *Hi-Diddle-Dee-Dee*.
Well after about 10 minutes we felt like shooting him (sorry Pinocchio but it is our tradition now

I think for us it's going to dinner at Cape Cod, my mom loves this restaurant

In general, when first entering the park during our trip, we never can get to the end of Main Street without entering Lily's boutique and Harrington's

Another tradition: spending WAY too much money and figuring how we will get everything IN the car (mind you, my car has a huge trunk, and still, the last two times, we had to actually push quite some stuff INSIDE the car!!!)

For us it'll have to be lunch at Cafe Mickey on our last day... Just makes the trip even more fun and we all get to have a cuddle with Mickey for one last time.

Another thing we must do is go on the Small World - my girls absolutely love this ride!

Ours is going to Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show Dinner Show on the first evening. It saves having to decide where to eat.

We always seem to:

• go to the studios first on our first day and then over to the disneyland park late afternoon/evening
• have a Late evening meal at Cafe Mickey
• have a stroll around the disney lake in the evening
• and have a walk through all the lands in the disneyland park on the last day to say goodbye

We have started, and finished, every trip with Phantom Manor, so I guess that's our tradition.

We also always eat at Annette's, and Bella Notte, at least once!

- When we use our tickets to gain entry on our first day I always turn to Denise and say "We're Home!"
- We always go on Pirates of the Caribbean first
- We always visit Disney Studios first thing on our second day
- We always leave Le Passage Enchanté d'Aladdin until our last day
- We always leave a trip round the park on the Railroad until the last day and almost the last thing we do
- We always have a Casey's Corner Hotdog for lunch on our last day
- We always say "Bonjour Canards" to the ducks as we walk along the Rio Grande River from Hotel Cheyenne

we always make our way to get a fast pass for BTM as our first job of the day and then go to POTC, and we always get a good spot for the parade about a hour before and fill our faces with popcorn while we wait ,in the sudios we always try to be one of the first in line to meet mickey at his caravan (now toon town) around 10am as we always think its the best place to see him

ALWAYS Peter PAn first. This was the first ride i went on the year it opened on my first ever trip to Dis, the first ride i dragged a mate on 5 years later, the first ride i dragged my husband on some 7 years on from that and now it's just always the first ride we go for!

Although NYE we will have to break that tradition because the line will be horrendous!!!!
Also it isn;t Disams if we aren't at the Seqouia Lodge

We always feed the ducks on the lake with bread from the breakfast table on our way to the parks.

DS's and I always have cocktails in the table service restaurants and hotel bar. (Non alcoholic for the boys of course).

I always say I'm going to do Space Mountain and then find some excuse not to.

We always manage to squeeze in a hotdog from the cart in Frontierland.

First and last ride is always POTC. Other than that we just attack the parks without any sort of plan whatsoever. We do try to make sure we have a meal at Annettes. It's easily our favourite place to eat in the village.

We always head straight for POTC then go through skull rock and head to PM. Go to Buffalo Bills on our 2nd day. Have tea at Plaza Gdns on our 1st day.

Usually eat lunch at Annettes on first day

Try to make last rides of each night POC and Small World (sometimes other way round) - like just sitting in the boats at the end of a long day and letting the world float by. We usually manage to stay on more than once as well

I love the way you put it That's exactly what we do once traditions are taken care of.

We have never been there for the "official" park opening in the mornings I have, however been a couple of times the first guest in the park, for the GMFL breakfast!

Well he stands outside before all the guests arrive, tho on our last day we had Tigger.
Its good as all the kids waiting get really excited
