So I've made quite a few reservations for our December trip and now it seems like my husband may be deploying. There's no way I can rebook some of them at this point (Be Our Guest, Candlelight Processionals and a couple others that I just can't get). Will we be charged? Does it just depend? Can I just bring copies of my husbands orders? lol. :( I'm pretty bummed he's going to miss the holidays again this year and still want to take the kids. I may be able to get someone to fill the spot of course too I guess.

First let me say thank you to your husband for his service, (my dh is also active duty), but sorry about a possible deployment, I know those all too well. (:( I would just call reservations and let them know one less person will be in your party. I wouldn't think it would be a problem. I don't even know if you would need to do that, but it may ease your mind. :)

I don't even mind paying for the no show really (worth keeping the reservation), just not sure how it will be handled. We're still in waiting mode so no clue if it will even be an issue yet.

For any reservation where you paid in full in advance (like candlelight processional, dinner shows or CRT), you'll need to call and have one person removed at least 1-2 days ahead for a refund for that person. (check your cancelation policy, I think cancelight processional requires 2 days in advance)

For all other reservations, including those with a CC hold, you do not need to change anything. Just show up at the podium and tell them you are one person short. As long as you show up for the reservation your credit card will not charged.

If you do decide to cancel completely. Just make sure you cancel at least 1-2 days ahead of time (again check cancelation policy of each for exact time requirement) so you will not be charged as a no show.

Thank you for your husband's service, but don't worry too much about this. People cancel or have less person all the time. Just know policy so you can be prepared :)
