PerkTV

I do the monkey one while I am sitting watching TV. It is mindless and an easy way to get some points. Whenever I get 5500 points I transfer the $5 to my card and lately I have been transferring every 4 days. No, not anything overwhelming but enough to cover my milk and muffin this morning :)!

Good luck! I often miss out on the Perk codes because the window's small and I rarely find out about them until they've been out a day or two.

This thread is a tad on the quiet side - Don't be afraid to speak up. You should feel completely free to ask, comment, or (like I often do) just complain about Perk!

Thank you. I'll try, I have just seen people get a bit "rawr" on some forums :-) and I prefer information and peace sharing! Complain about Perk: I do wish they'd get their "no playlist available" issues worked out - its seems to run along with Perk not running really well ... LOL ... annoying, when it works (well sort of) anyway! I don't make a bundle, only about $5/week - which I get in Amazon GC because they are so easy .. not cheap, just easy :-) but then I buy stuff for our trips OR everyday stuff we need, which if I do, I replace that amount with a Disney GC that I just purchase "over-the-counter" - I used to run it on my old iPhone3, but I think Perk upgraded beyond the i3 .. so I ran it on occasion on my Kindle, which sometimes doesn't work with it at all ... recently I replaced my iPhone4 (of 3 years) with an iPhone6s .. so I'm running Perk on the iPhone4 :-) *whew* that's a lot of speaking up for me!

That is surprising because it runs best on my Kindle. But mine is an HDX which has double the RAM

I have a 7" Kindle Fire HD, which is 2 years old now, maybe almost 3 .. mostly it runs fine, but it will sometimes decide - for like a week - to not even open .. usually have to uninstall, reinstall and then try it .. of course, it could be our internet, sometimes it isn't the best either - older part of town and I don't think they've replaced wiring in forever. It seems to run smooth on the iPhone4 - unless "no playlist available" pops up, then it will run for several trailers/apps and then stop and I have to restart it.

I picked up a Kindle 7" Fire a couple months ago and that thing is by far my most solid device. I do have to exit & clear the app a couple times a day on average, but all my other devices require that usually 6-10x a day. More, if I could stay awake longer. I think the fact mine is 2 years "newer" than yours helps.

If only it were a little cheaper or I could earn more with it - I'd make a Fire farm!

If anyone is looking to buy cheap phones for perking...
Walmart has Zone 3s for $12.

Hope they stay in stock long enough for me to pick up a couple on my way home.

My local Walmart is useless for buy online/store pick-up. I tried to order some Pixis last fall from them. Website said they were in stock. Placed order. Never fulfilled. Walked into store, asked cashier in the department. She walked to where they were supposed to be on a shelf, none there. She said they were out and that the website "lies". I gave up. Next day I needed something else there, walked through the department and came across a special display filled with 20-30 of the phones I was looking for. Sadly, the same cashier wasn't there to show where the GIANT DISPLAY of the phones she couldn't find was.

Yeah. I just placed the order online for store pickup and it just got cancelled. It said there were 3 in stock, but maybe the inventory levels or wrong. Or maybe buying 3 prepaid phones is a no-no. I will try stopping by after work. We'll see.

The Perk reddit seemed to think 2 was the magic number - ordering more got you cancelled.

I picked up 2 from a Walmart (not my usual store, but still an adventure in patience none-the-less), but I'm too busy packing tonight to try it out!! Reviews, please, whoever's bought one and is trying it out.

I placed several orders and had them canceled. I called Walmart and they said there was a 2 phone limit. Placed the order for 2 and picked them up last night.

I got 4 last night, debloated and starting them off on 4 different apps to see how they would do.

I had one each on PTV, PPQ, PWS. For the 2 hours that I watched them before going to bed, they ran great. Spinning circles were a lot less than normal for me. When I got up this morning, they all had their version of AYSW screen.

For the 4th, I had it run earnhoney videos. None of my cheap phones can do this and I have laptops that struggle with playing these vids. So I consider this a tough test for my purposes. I got up this morning and it was still running.

This morning, I started on on running Swagbucks apps. I started with Entertainnow, as that one has been the worst for me on my Galaxy S4. It has been running non-stop for the last half hour. A great sign considering Entertainow chokes after a couple of videos for me.

Things look great so far. I will be running my other 3 on PTV today and will buy 4 more, if Walmart will let me. They already canceled my order for today.

Has anyone else had problems with PPQ lately? For the past 2 days, I can't get more than a couple of rounds in before I have to restart the app. It either stops without loading the questions or goes back to the page where you choose your category.

Yes same problem and around 7pm PerkTv tells me there are no playlists.

Mine is doing the same. Frustrating b/c PPQ is the only Perk app I can even get to run at all.

Yes same here and it had been running so well for weeks up until recently

@5kidsmommy "can you advance through the videos like on swagtv?"

The Perk app autoadvances or you can babysit the app to make it go faster. There are several different Perk apps. I actually run the Perk Pop Quiz app on all of my phones because it seems to run better and faster without timing out or hanging. You set that app to lightening mode and they run through each question in a few seconds.

I also run Perk.tv in my computer browser whenever I am on a computer. It runs for a while and then every now and then you need to click a captcha to make it continue. This nets a ton of points each day and takes very little effort.
