Technically no, but your KTTW card will say member on it, so you should be able to receive the DVC perks. Enjoy and have a great trip.

Just to elaborate, your room key will most likely be imprinted with the words "DVC Member". However, more and more places are reportedly asking to see the actual blue DVC Membership card before issuing discounts.

I usually carry my card with me, and produce it whenever a discount is offered. IMO, that's a lot less intrusive than trying to get the CM to notice the special imprint on the resort key card. So, I really can't offer any personal perspective on how often people are asked for additional proof of DVC membership. I just know that I've read random posts here from people who were asked for the card.

I'd also add that many places do not ask for the blue card, even when they should be. For example we have purchased member pins and have never been asked for any identification. Furthermore we have never been asked for the blue card for any discount whether it be on food or mini golf. We have been asked for it to valet park however.

As a rule renters will get the perks even though they shouldn't. If your card says DVC member, that is your choice to try for the perks. Ask the person you rented from to copy the perks info and email it to you. Then print it and take it with you.
