Do you get any perks for buying or adding on while at a DVC resort?

Just what everyone else gets. You buy while you are touring and get a few dollars off the price Disney charges. Maybe a fast pass (but with the new fast pass, those free fast passes might come to an end).

You can only book the Disney Collection and the Concierge Collection if you buy direct. These "perks" are not offered if bought through resale. You would not be able to book cruises among other options.
