Perfume??

Hello everyone!

Just wondering if anyone wore any special perfume on their wedding day? My mom asked me if I was going to wear any and now I'm not sure? Ok so thats all for now! Have a magical day!

My h2b loves fruity smells so I'm planning on buying some tangerine scented perfume from the Body Shop for our wedding day. He doesn't like 'regular' perfumes so I thought this would be something nice for him, and whenever I smell a tangerine I'll remember my wedding day....

Thats the plan anyway!

I think Ill prob just wear the perfume I usually wear, if you do plan to try something new, I would suggest wearing it a couple of times to see if you really like it. I think it might be a good idea to go to a dept store see if they can suggest some samples for you to try out, before you commit to a new scent.

I would hate to try somthing new, have it not mix well with my chemistry and then be stuck with it all night.

I love the idea though, of having a special perfume remind you of your wedding day every time you smell it! You can wear it on special occasions and always be reminded!

Beautiful by Estee Lauder which my great aunt always wore and I loved it. I know it smells good on me, I've just never worn it.

I'm only going to wear it at my wedding and on special occasions. It's said that the sense that connects the strongest to memories is the sense of smell.

I usually wear Philosophy Falling in Love or Pure Grace so this will def. be different!

I wore Inspire by Lolia. I kinda just bought it cuz the bottle is so cool and it didn't smell like most perfumes. I definitely wanted a unique scent, and now it reminds me of our wedding whenever I smell it. (Of course, it kinda smells like Bounce fabric softener to me, so it also reminds me of laundry every time I smell it! )

I wore Crystalline by Bulgari after smelling about 50 different fragrances. It was beautiful, I absolutely love the smell and I love that whenever I smell it I will remember my wedding day.

ETA: Robert was actually with me smelling perfumes, I didn't want to smell like something he wouldn't like lol!!!

this is where I am weird...I wore my regular Paloma Picasso because that is what my husband likes and I wanted to smell like me!

I always wear Philosophy Amazing Grace and for the wedding I will wear Philosophy Falling in Love.

I wore Philosophy's "Falling In Love," but used White Basin's "Pink Sugar" scented body butter as my cream for the day, which has a fairly strong, sweet scent on its own. I find they both work well together and it added a little unique Disney-ish touch.

In fact, all of the bridesmaids loved the body butter, so we all formed a line to lather it on each other's arms and it became an amusing event (I can only imagine the video!) Here's a picture of my mom getting geared up with the body butter-

oh and for those of you who like nice light fruity smells try Incanto Shine! I picked up a bottle at Epcot in Italy a couple years ago!! It is so nice. Tim bought me a bottle for christmas cause when we went in October they were out...the girl told me that they were supposed to be getting it back in!!! You girls should try it.

I thought if this thread this morning..I was in the car, on the way to work when I grabbed my lotion..it is the H20 Body Butter I got on the cruise...as soon as I smelled it, it reminded me of my friends and the cruise..

Now I wish I had thought to wear something special on that day!

This is a great thread! I'm the mother of the bride, but wanted to get a new perfume for my DD's wedding. I'm writing down the different perfumes so I can test them out. Besides, I'd also like to get a gift of perfume for DD, if she wants a new scent.

I'm wearing Laila which I buy in the Norway Pavilion on every trip! I LOVE it!! The first time I walked into that shop (when I was old enough to buy my own stuff!) I fell in love with the smell.

It's light and flowery and not heavy at all.

Plus I think the EPCOT association is great already without the wedding being at WDW being added in!
