I don't even know if this is booked up for our visit in 2 weeks but I have been contemplating it...is it worth the $225? My dd is 3.75...I just wondered if it is better for a 5 year old...Thanks...

I did this when DD was 6, almost 7 and she liked it, she loved it, but she was one of the older girls. I think it depends on your child. For us, it was worth every penny, but for a child who is shy or hesitant to leave your side, your dd may be young.

We did it and it was alright, its alot of money. We were in a group of almost 20 girls with some really pushy mothers who needed to realize we all paid the same $$$$ as them. I am not saying dont go but realize if your dd isnt really assertive other girls will be pushing her back. Aurora does come around to each table to meet the girls and do one on one photos. But the dancing with her, etc dd got a bit pushed back by some pushy kids. I think it might be better if the kids parents werent allowed in.

Dd preferred the wonderland tea party, the kids are dropped off by the parents and it is under $40. She begs to go there again, the tea party she hasnt brought up again since we got back 2 years ago. Its alot of money to not be the highlight of your kids trip if that makes sense.

My DD's were 4 and 6 when we went 2 years ago and it was well worth it. If your DD is into the princesses and if you think that she will enjoy it go for it! When we were there the girls ranged in age from about 3 - 10. And if you do decide to go, make sure she wears a princess dress if she has one!

Cheers-

I booked it for my mom & DDthen4 for our 2005 trip, and they both loved it. It is pricey, but it is just so sweet & perfect for little girls! My DD, who is a singing, dancing princess, still talks about how great it was, and her Aurora doll is still her very favorite even though she's added a couple American Girls and a dozen Barbies to her collection since then. Well worth the money, IMO.

Thanks ladies...I keep going back and forth on it...do they get things other then the doll? How much does the doll cost in the store? What all do they do at the tea?

The princess (your dd) is announced and seated. At the table is a napkin with a charm braclet and the doll dressed as Aurora. Rose petal and the male piano player entertian you while you eat. The tea is real for adults with scones and finger sandwiches, your dd gets the same food but apple juice for tea (I think it was apple juice, it was 2 years ago) You have starwberry cake for dessert. Aurora comes in, she dances in a circle with the girls, comes to eat table for pics and gives your dd a rose. The sing/ dance one more song and its done. You go next door to adopt your doll and to get a scrape book page kit.

Most of the girls wore princess dresses and were very dressed up. The plastic shoes, jewlery and updo hair.

Thanks everyone...I booked it...I thought it was pricy at 225 but with tax and gratuity it came to ....264.27! I am sure dd will LOVE it...SHE BETTER! HAHAHA!!
