I took my six year old to this event in 2012. Next year I will be taking my four year old. When we went it was 250.00, now it's 333.00! I can't believe the increase! We had a fantastic time and I have recommended it to everyone, but now I'm not too sure. Has anyone been since the price increase? Has the experience changed any?

Anyone have any info? Just wondering if it's as good, better or not as good compared to 2012. I know I could put that money towards other things like the pirates and pals cruise or something. Any ideas for an alternate?

Ok, so I don't have any info. Just wanted to say that I was considering this for my kids in the next few years, but at $333.00 there is no way. It was pushing it at $250.

We went in September. I don't know what you experienced in 2012 but we had tea with Rose Petal and Aurora came and both sat for 1 on 1's with each visiting princess. They each received a rose, 18"doll, doll backpack, necklace and charm bracelet. My DD loved it and it was most definitely a highlight for her.

I don't remember the doll backpack or the necklace, those must be new. My daughter did get a crown and a princess certificate, maybe the switched them? She loved it. So excited over all of it. She loved the fact that the picture on her plate was actually painted on with chocolate. I hope they still have those little details.

Oh yeah, you still get those too, the crown and the certificate. The backpack is one of those sling bags (not sure of the correct name for it) and it says "Perfectly Princess Tea" on it. There was also a sticker sheet after we went up to get the best friends doll certificate after the princes parade up to the second level of the GF. They did still have the princesses stamped on in chocolate too ;) I didn't notice right away and got the picture after there were a few finger prints in it ;)

Hi!

I came here to this thread to learn more about the perfectly princess tea party, but I wanted to chime in since I saw you were talking about experiencing the pirates and pals cruise instead. I just want you to know that pirates and pals is my FAVORITE experience on WDW property and definitely something you should experience at least once! The pirates are hilarious, there's lots of good food, you have a great view of the fireworks and electric water pageant, and you get to meet Mr. Smee, Captan Hook, and Peter Pan- all rare hard to meet characters (except for Peter, who's still hard to meet as his lines fill up very quickly in the park). I really recommend that if you've already done the princess tea party as it's a fun experience for the whole family.

Sorry for the non perfectly princess tangent! Hope your vacation rocks :)

Thank you, Newsies! I priced it out and it's so much cheaper, plus it's for 5 vs. 2. I would hate to not carry on the tradition, but wow, the price is something I am going to have to think about. I'm getting excited about planning, only about 18 months to go :)
