Perfectly Princess Tea Party...worth the price tag?

Worth it?
Here is the deal...this is our one and only trip to Disney with our kids b/c of the crazy cost. (we have 4 kids-3 boys and one girl...she's the youngest)
Our daughter (age 3) was born with health issues and has been through hell and back since she was born (and is about to start a whole new load of health stuff when we get back from our trip)
I tried and tried to get reservations to BBB for her but alas they are fully booked every single day in both locations every day we are there. Fine..that was my bad for forgetting to call sooner. (kicking myself for that one!!) But this Tea Party thing....Princess Aurora is her FAV princess. This would be amazeballs for her if I can get time slot but of course the cost is what is making me cringe....but then this is our only trip and I think after all the stuff (testing since birth, surgeries, therapy of all kinds etc) This sweet girl has earned something like this. But before I commit if I can get us a spot for all they do during it...worth the huge price tag or attempt to do some other Disney Magic for her?

Never done the princess tea party but for what your daughter has been through and seeing that this is possibly your only trip to the world, I say go for it!

I ended up going ahead and doing it...they had an open spot. Really surprised that there are no comments about it. Do people just not do this at all?

I did it in 2014 when my DD was turning 6. It was really very nice. They make all the children feel so special by calling them in one at a time to be seated. Then Rose Petal tells a story and you get your doll and other SWAG and each girl has a little placecard with her special princess name (my DD was Princess of the Sweetpeas.) Then eating and tea, then Princess Aurora comes in and all the little girls are in awe of her! She is very beautiful and talks to each child. sits down with them and takes pictures. Then they all dance together. Rose Petal is a very lovely host, very sweet and friendly. The girls parade through the GF lobby after the tea, and they just feel so special! It is obviously a huge splurge, but it was wonderful and once in a lifetime, I think our girls' deserve something special if you can do it. My mom paid for ours for a birthday gift. If your little one loves Aurora, she will be in heaven!

Yeah, I have three daughters, and the price was just too high for all three, so we do a lot of character meals, and we did the BBB for them last time we were there. But it looked very nice. Hope your daughter enjoys it, and that all her health issues get better!

We have never done the "princess" tea party, because it did not seem worth it. We did however just plan a tea at the Garden View Tea Room and had a blast! As for BBB, don't give up! I called everyday, sometimes twice a day, and got a reservation 4 days before we left. We also once got my son in for the Knight makeover once on a whim and they happened to fit him in 1/2 hour later!

Listen, we did the Perfectly Princess Tea party last Wednesday--- me, DD 5, Grandma, DNiece 5, SIL. 5 OF US. The cost was astronomical. When it was over we all looked at each other and declared it was WORTH. EVERY. PENNY. If you can swing it, do it. If I were home I'd add pics. I'll try to remember to come back and show you some. The doll alone is probably worth at least $100.

If you can't get BBB, try The Pirate's League. Little girls can get makeovers as mermaids or empresses. It's really fun!

I just did it last week with DD and it was amazing. Expensive but just a once in a lifetime thing. My DD has been talking about it nonstop ever since. I'm working on my trip report so will post lots of details soon - link in my signature.
